On Saturday, October 21st, I have decided to do something special and participate in the Miami-Ft. Lauderdale Komen Race for the Cure. It's a 5k Walk/Run that raises money for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. The mission of the Komen Foundation is to eradicate breast cancer as a life threatening disease through research, education, screening and treatment.
