Awesome weekend....

Hello everyone,

I hope you all had a great weekend. My weekend was long but really fun. It started on Thursday and now I am exhausted! Danielle's friends came down on Wednesday night and we just had a blast.

Thursday night I met up with the guys and headed to Nikki Marina Danielle met up with us after she got home from work. The night was not too late but very hard to get up on Friday for work. I was dragging on Friday but managed to rally to go out to a nice dinner at Shula's Steakhouse and then for a night at Hard Rock (it was necessary to celebrate Cinco De Mayo). We hit a couple of places at the Hard Rock, Murphy's Law (nice Irish pub) and a new place that we had not been to before. Yesterday we rented a boat. At one point I saw my life flash before my eyes . It was a beautiful day however, there was some wind and the ocean was a little choppy. We started out on the Intercoastal in Ft. Lauderdale, drove down to Nikki's and picked up another friend Karen. On our way back we had a wave of water hit the boat. It was hysterical. Then we decided we were going to it the open water....I still have no clue what we were thinking! There was a lot of boat traffic because it was the boat and air show this weekend...We turned to get in the open water and that is when it started to get rough. The swells were pretty big for our boat. We were getting tossed around with water spaying us. At one point one of the Blue Angles flew over us and it was perfect timing. We managed to make it in. Then hit the Ulgy Tuna for some dinner and then to the piano bar in Ft. Lauderdale for some cocktails and entertainment. I will be posting some pictures later on today and later in the week what I get them.

Love,
Mary Beth
